We would like to let you know what obligations you accept prior to your stay and how we proceed to protect our mutual interests.
1.0 Conclusion of contract
1.1 The contract is deemed to be concluded after confirmation of your booked room or suite. Booking shall be binding with receipt of your written notification via internet, fax, and mail or after your orally placed order. Confirmation of booking must be in written form.
2.0 Arrival and departure
Unless otherwise stated in written form, rooms or suites will not be available before 3 pm on the day of arrival (check-in time).
Rooms and/or suites need to be vacated until 11.00 am on the day of departure (check-out time). If requested and on condition of sufficient capacity, we will be able to reserve a day room for your early or late arrival/departure. Day room reservations are not free of charge.
3.0 Services and Rates
3.1 Your confirmation of reservation states what services and rates are contractually agreed. In case of force majeure, strike or technical problems, the Residenz Strandhotel shall be free to reduce certain services to ensure fulfilment of contract. Guests shall not be entitled to any compensation.
Unless otherwise stated, rates include accommodation for one or two persons. Additional lodging will be charged and need to be accepted by the hotel. Rooms and/or suites are exclusively reserved for guests with valid booking. Visitors to our guests need to ask for permission if the want to stay.
Our rates include lodging, room cleaning, breakfast plus currently applicable VAT.
3.2 Short-term parking for loading/unloading of your luggage will be possible direct at the hotel. For long-term parking please use the underground car park about 300 m from our hotel in the
Kurhausgarten. Parking is not free of charge. If local traffic permits, further charged parking facilities are provided near the hotel in Seestraße.
3.3 We regret, but the hotel has no garage facilities for your bicycles. There is a bicycle rental about 100 m from the hotel.
3.4 Pets are not allowed in our hotel.
4.1 Payment in advance
Residenz Stranthotel may ask you for advance payment when booking.
4.2 Cost transfer
Notification of cost transfer needs to be in writing (declaration of assignment).
4.3 Spa tax
In compliance with local rules, spa tax is to be paid throughout the year and will be paid separately at the hotel.
4.4 Method of payment
We accept cash payment, EC-card with PIN, Visa or MasterCard.
5.0 Cancellation and termination of the accommodation agreement
5.1 Any cancellation is to be effected in writing.
Any cancellation is for both parties annoying. We deeply regret if a room will not be available due to late or missing cancellation.
Notice of cancellation should be given
A cancellation fee of 80 % of the agreed rate (lodging and breakfast) will be charged if the booking is cancelled up to two weeks prior to arrival or in case of early departure. There won’t be any charges for cancellation before the 2-weeks period.
We recommend signing cancellation insurance.
5.2 Cancellation of agreement by Residenz Strandhotel
The Residenz Strandhotel kindly asks their guests for compliance with the usual code of conducts. We thank you for being calm and considerate. In case of any improper and disturbing behaviour or contagious diseases, Residenz Strandhotel reserves the right to cancel the contract.
Residenz Strandhotel reserves the right to cancel or modify agreements in case of technical problems, unforeseen events such as strikes, acts of God or change of hotel ownership.
5.3 Option date
Fixed option dates ensure that non-binding enquiries may be cancelled prior to a deadline. After end of term any claim will be terminated. During the option term and after consultation with the client, the Residenz Strandhotel reserves the right to cancel the enquiry if the client cannot place any other booking.
6.0 General conditions
6.1 Any oral agreements shall be binding only if confirmed by Residenz Strandhotel in writing.
6.2 For any special information on rooms/suites of the Residenz Strandhotel please look into our guest brochures which are available at every room.
6.3 Should any provision of this contract be or become ineffective, effectiveness of the remaining contractual provisions shall not be affected. We reserve the right to correct mistakes, typographical and calculation errors.
6.4 Any disputes arising from an agreement and its performance shall be settled at the district court Rostock.
